I'll let Vander follow up himself, but yes, it is my experience that the AI will handle the mission even if no human joins with them.

When in the thick of the action, I find it difficult to tell AI from human. The 2-seaters will still waggle about if you are stalking them though, so that is a dead give away because their gunners are bloody deadly, so we tend to ignore them when recognized as such, though of course that isn't quite in the spirit of things... :???:

Okay, so I have changed the following:

-New versions generated, so hopefully 1916 mission is playable again
-Added 1 extra minute between morse code warning and AI planes take-off
-Added heavy bombers to 1917 and 1918 missions

HEY! Awwwright... I will post this on the BH server. Neato.... really looking forward to some Gotha action. :grin:

OK.. we had a pile of guys on your server Saturday night, it was almost full... the highpoint I saw was 18-16 so getting close to the max. Everyone really enjoyed the map and the Gothas were seeing a lot of service. Thanks so much for adding them. I actually saw someone get an HP to 1500+ meters they should get a medal. Of course if it gets through, 1 Grand Slam even close to the aerodrome and it's gone for 15 minutes so they were having fun with it as well. I hate to be greedy but I have to ask... is it possible for the AI to fly the Gotha on some missions so us puny humans can fly in formation with them? Just curious, don't want to push my luck.

Speaking of big asks, would it be possible to create an Active Front version of the Bombers Channel map?

Could include all the float planes as well. Might be a bit'o'work though...

I'm not the mission guru here, but damn fine idea!!! :cool:

Yes, would be a nice set up! We already have one active front mission on the channel map. Maybe it's not too hard too move everything to the coast...

The server was pretty popular tonight. I was having a blast until I had to go afk. This mission type really works well!
