In truth, my son asked --with no prior knowledge-- about a tank computer game after watching me at RoF and various other flight sims. I thought, "Hey, there's WoT, I hear it's free, nobody gets 'killed' (well there's no blood...)" so why not!?!" I just monitored his time at the keyboard (well, actually mom did :???: ), and use it as a reward. Yes, bribery works as a parent. If you're a parent, you KNOW what I mean...

And have you seen what my son creates in Lego anyways?

Did he had some help Bandy? ;)

Here's my son's effort (8 yr): Image

I see some subtle differences! :)

Will freely admit to lending a hand, more of a technical consult though. He's been at lego since he was in diapers. Now he looks at pictures of the kits and does a good job of copying them with what he's got on hand --we simply don't have the resources for unfettered lego purchases. I used to play in the mud or snow, depending on the season...

An earlier effort after he watched the 'Dogfights' episode on Bismark and the Swordfish. My crappy photography in case you were wondering Vander.

Back on topic. What I mess I had with running Tanks on Sunday. I did reinstall, but then couldn't get it past the synchronization loading screen. Judging by the forum the shite really hit-the-fan for many players with these loading hangs. Many also had the in-mission freeze I experienced. I did finally get back on in the late evening and did not have another freeze.

A case of a dog having ticks and fleas perhaps???
Lest we forget...

Well after a week and a half I got lots of stuff

KV1 with crews at 100% and now training, one more tank to research and its an elite tank, KV1S is just getting going big gun to get after armoured turret then onwards, T49 is a struggle but M18 beckons and the M3 Lee is starting to come alive as I research ultimately towards the T29. Just waiting for the british line to come out and will try that.
