Currently running the ultra pack 3

Il2 version 4.10.1

I'm going to to a second install onto a different drive and then update to 4.12.2

I will then be installing HSFX 7.0.3
i7 7700k @4.2Ghz, GTX 1080Ti,16G RAM, TrackIR, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS joystick, MFG Crosswind rudder pedals, Saitec throttle quadrants/trim wheel, a custom panel, HTC Vive and an Oculus Rift.

I've got an issue with my install related to my controllers id's in windows.(Il2 only can recognize the first 4 controllers installed in Windows) And since I've installed a new joystick my old Il2 can't "see" my new stick....Anyone got an idea how to fix this without reinstalling Windows and everything else?

I've seen some references around to virtual controller software but haven't quite figured out if this really works or how......

Mugue, I am sure I used this before

I will not be doing 1946, due to the controller limitation, it is a major operation to start unplugging USB devices.

I don't think it will be an issue, Blacky. I think it means you can only set controls from a maximum of 4 different controllers not that you cant have more connected. I hope so anyway!

I am pretty sure it only recognises the first four controllers as Mugue said sometimes even if they are not plugged in, so Mugue has to delete the USB references to his older stick to get his current stick recognised.

Take a look at PPJoy Mugue. it's free software.

If you install it. You can make a virtual joystick and connect it to your existing joystick. Pretty easy to use.
http://en.sourceforge.jp/projects/sfnet ... lease.exe/

When you install it you have to turn of the windows certificate check..which made my eye brows raise when I read it. Tho the programmer explained it would cost him 500 $ to make it windows certified. And he is not making money of it..so it kinda makes sense. It can do far more things then solving the problem you are mentioning..so don't get confused.

I hope this helps you.
