This section seemed naked without a screenie thread. So here are some oldies but goodies.

I've got zillions more but I'll restrain myself with these last ones.

One from my time with 81 Squadron.

Yes!!!

I have been reading a lot of WW2 articles while on holiday. A great article in Flight Journal about Guadacanal inspires me to make some coops about that campaign. So we need any new updates (UP?) since our latest coop sessions?

No, Vander, I don't believe so. UP hasn't been updated for the latest TD patch(4.11.01)and most likely won't be. So we should still be good as is. Looking forward to it!

Per-"Perhaps we could check out the new HSFX 6.0 pack?"

Hmmmm, I'll look into that.
Though, since I believe we've got most everyone setup with UP3++, maybe we shouldn't change and make everyone DL something new, cause of the "pain in the ass factor". Unless there is something particularly great about HSFX that is.(Dose it have your French bird in it?, Can't think of it's name at the moment. Dewit something something...)

Jed-"Ah!...good times!...I remember each and every one of those sorties!...weird, huh?"

Good times indeed!! I remember them all too, as if they were yesterday.

Edit-That HSFX looks pretty cool. Didn't see your plane in it tho, too bad. :( I'll be DL-ing this and giving it a try later.

Got HSFX 6 installed - most difficult part other than waiting for the 4.7Gb to DL was realising that there had been another patch (4.11.1) released by Team Daedalus.

I must say i like the autoupdate feature of HSFX (just make sure you are patched to 6.0 patch 1. The autoupdate will update automatically from there.

Had a blast flying the hurri mk1 ( I want one in ROF) in the defence of Crete on AcesOverEurope server. Its set up like a sunday vintage mission. There were 30+ plus players (and AI) and loads going on. No mods allowed and historical planesets as standard.

I haven't flown Il-2 for over 6 years (I & 81Sqn had tired of it - we had been playing it since the demo). Its certainly aged well with the mods.
