P-40 is out!

I will work on the BoS coop missions this week/weekend and include this plane. I haven't flown it yet, but from what I read (also on beta forum) it will be a nice ride, but still easily beaten in a dogfight by any 109. All the more reason to start in co-op first!

Please just make sure to include other Soviet a/c as flyable options in the formation.

[Shhh, some of us have not bought into further IL2 pre-releases]

Just finished my first flights with it...Me likey! Very Much!(forget that it's one of my all time favorite aircraft) Seems to handle well.(though it's a bit too twitchy in the yaw axis, imho, like most of the BoS/BoM planes. Why everything has to handle like a P-39, I can't fathom. but I digress...)
Still it's got, trim on all axis's, all those guns, big cockpit, good visibility, cup holders, AM/FM stereo, 8 track tape player, devastating good looks, what more could you want? It's a chick magnet!!!
Best of all it lands much easier than the Lagg for me.(a key factor for my survival!)

Now if they'd just get going on all the rest of the missing lend lease stuff; Hurri, Spit, P-39, A-20, B-25...they've got a lot to do.

I agree! It flies really nice, not so twitchy as all the other planes. It'll be my favourite ground pounder I think (well not counting the IL-2!). Would love to have a desert map so we can paint some teeth on that chin!

Careful, Comrades, the regimental commissar has made clear that excessive praise of imperialist equipment at the expense of Soviet engineering will earn you a spot in a penal battalion. Comrade General Chuikov needs some minefields cleared near the Grain Elevator.

Still, I would like to check out the cup-holder and eight-track.

Well, Lenny, you totally should.(damn the Commissar)
I've been cruising around all day with the windows down, a bottle of Night Train in the cup holder and cranking SuperTramp.(my supply of 8tracks is severely limited)
Managed to shoot up some planes too.(using Per as bait of course!) Highly recommended.
