You ain't kidding Mike.
Bug testing is not for everyone. You really have to be systematic about trying all settings, such as weather and lighting conditions, etc. etc. etc. I ended up finding this 'issue' early on with the Channel beta, and good thing, because otherwise our water could have looked like this when the wind is at high setting...

AND don't be afraid of asking for improvements! The base of the chalk cliffs looked like this at first, with a sharp edge... but after pointing out that the cliffs had 'scree' along the bottom, the devs added some rubble for a natural transition. So sometimes it does make a difference when you whine, as long as you are constructive in your whinging...

Looks better now, eh?

Is the BoS early release an Alpha or Beta?

I've been sort of avoiding the boards of late, as I get tired of the "experts" who haven't seen a thing yet.

love the avatar as well :)

I guess it's alpha since they will still be adding features in the future.

Beta phase wil start when all features are implemented and it comes down to bug fixing and polishing the game.

Spud, simply wonderful!
I think the starkness of your potato's surroundings adds a sublimely nihilistic context to his vocalization...
ni·hil·is·tic
ˌnīəˈlistik,ˌnēə-/
adjective: nihilistic

1. rejecting all religious and moral principles in the belief that life is meaningless.

Hmmm... The same could be said for the pilot a great deal of the time.

After a little tweaking I think I've produced the final Screaming Spud. I'll attempt to upload the evolution of spuds for the peanut gallery. As you know Potatoes tend to have a hard time with technology (You should see this spud trying to get anything in DCS off the ground).
