Ricky look at the CH throttle quadrant, especially if you want to fly twin engined aircraft

I'm going to pick up something more "realistic". Probably something that's been mentioned in this thread. What I have been using however, and I don't know if this is common, is two Logitech sticks. I have one mapped to only one engine and the other, to the second engine. Each stick has 12 buttons so I never need to use the keyboard.

I am probably going to wait and see what is mappable and then build a box myself  to complement what I already have

I figure a the majority of features will not be available for premium "tester" launch. But knowing I will be getting some sort of VR in the next year means I need to be pro-active and get something with different feeling buttons and switches. What was originally posted seems pretty much up my alley.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one ! True that I like flying twin-engined planes, it could be worth it. It's a bit more expensive though, but CH quality has its price

Yep, ch throttle quad, its really very good, got it working for twins in IL2, although cannot map separate mixture. If you do get it download the config software as it uses pots and will need calibrating properly. It even has an indent at the bottom of each lever which acts as a switch, feather prop for instance, or in a jet switching to reverse thrusters.

I bought one and it's waiting for me at home. Thanks to Hooves I was reminded that I wanted to buy one. :D
Excited to try it out on Clod engine management since BoS is offline for a bit.
