Beatles? Really???

Where my soul resides http://www.tomwaits.com/. An acquired taste to be sure, you can't dance to it, unless you're spastic...

And of course...

But NOT...

  I love both too, Neil Young is coming this summer here for a festival, I'm not gonna miss him

I listen to a lot of music, mostly rock bu not only, here are just a few I'm really enjoying right now:

Dinosaur jr., american indie rock legends for the last 25 years

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Crippled Black Phoenix, lots of Pink Floyd influences

Tortoise

OM, kind of "meditative" rock with some oriental influence

For the metalheads, High On Fire

I lost a lot of hearing after a Dinosaur jr. concert...

Husker Du was another good memory from my misspent youth, though too angst-ridden to listen to the albums now... IMHO Bob Mould has come up with some good solo stuff since then, though some old fans say he is too commercial now. Saw his solo show in Toronto and had a great time. He played a really heavy Cinnamon Girl (old Neil Young song) and the crowd absolutely went ballistic!

Harry Patch, always meant to buy the book based on his memoirs....

I can Feel Your Pain (pun intended  ), saw them live (again) just a few days ago and they're always sooooo loud. Fortunately I've been wearing earplugs at concerts for years now... :geek:

Here is some Dutch music for you, in my opinion it is some of the best music recently in the Netherlands. I saw all of them play live and yes i know: my musical taste makes me 50+ at least :)

Alamo Race Track - Black Cat John Brown

El Pino & The Volunteers - There's No Cure For Stupidity

Johan - Walking Away

Moss - I Apologise (Dear Simon)

Novastar - Because <--------- Karma will give me a hard time on this one, there is a Flemish link

Tim Knol - When I Am King
