Saw these guys in a dive bar in Salt Lake City a couple years ago.. The staff had to run down the street to buy more cases of beer because the kegs ran dry. (Granted, it's Utah, so you have to drink 1.5x as much beer as usual - 3.2 beer  )

Thought you would like that one, Ricky.

I'm now listening to the CBP link you posted, good stuff. Here's another Foydian one:

enjoyed CBP, very nice :)

Causa Sui is also an interesting listening session, a bit jazzy as well.

Not jazzy by any means, but neither am I... bringing you The Tragically Hip.
Make sure you turn this one up... Oddly enough, perhaps, the song "New Orleans is Sinking" was released many years before hurricane katrina but seems right on the mark, no?

Don't mean to bring you down, but this brings tears to my eyes, every time...

And more recent "work"...

Found the lyrics for Fiddler's Green if interested...
It's a song about his young nephew who died of cancer. "Balloons all filled with rain" refers to his IV bottles. Fiddler's Green is where sailors go who are lost at sea.

September Seventeen
For a girl I know it's Mother's Day
Here son has gone alee
And that's where he will stay
Wind on the weather vane
Tearing blue eyes sailor-mean
As Falstaff sings a sorrowful refrain
For a boy in Fiddler's Green

His tiny knotted heart
Well, I guess it never worked too good
The timber tore apart
And the water gorged the wood
You can hear her whispered prayer
For men at masts that always lean
That the same wind that moves her hair
Moves a boy through Fiddler's Green

He doesn't know a soul
And there's nowhere that he's really been
But he won't travel long alone
No, not in Fiddler's Green
Balloons all filled with rain
As children's eyes turn sleepy-mean
And Falstaff sings a sorrowful refrain
For a boy in Fiddler's Green
Lest we forget...

Why should a man climb everest?

Public Service Broadcasting. Quite simply the finest band to come out of the UK in the last year. Seen them live twice, I hope to see them in July when the play in the shadow of this:
