Stumbled on this while linking up the other post...

Didn't know he had played/recorded live for BBC Four "in the day", but certainly unplugged before it was fashionable, eh?
I think I saw Blackie in the audience back there, maybe doing a bit of undercover narc?

The second song "Old Man" and at 13:00 "Heart of Gold" are definitive versions.

Yes, that's a good one, I've watched/listened a few times over the past year or two.

Hard to believe that fresh-faced youth turned into such a crusty old guy

It killed me when he said something like, "I know you folks might find these new songs weird", and he's playing these amazing career defining songs for a first time audience. The chick in the go-go boots and mini behind him did not seem too impressed with his style, not that he would have cared.

I can remember seeing him in concert, halfway through he takes a break from the heavy electric and pulls out a stool and just starts playing a mic'd acoustic song (no lyrics) that none of the long-time fans around me recognized. It was really very good, many fine bridges along the way, and afterwards there was silence, like everyone was waiting because they didn't know if it was over yet. Then just an explosion of applause, and when he said, "Yeah, I'll have to remember that one for later", you realized he had played that version of it for the first time, maybe refining an earlier arrangement, but the spontaneity made it work for all of us. I read years later that he apparently has every one of his concerts recorded partly for that reason. There are pieces of that embryonic song in "I'm the Ocean" off Mirror Ball, many years later.

Awesome!

BIG Zeppelin fan in the day...

There is a very good 'reunion' album of sorts with Plant and Page playing live with the Egyptian orchestra. Check it out.

Couple of months ago I accidentally found an artists called Atmosphere, Slug and Ant, rappers from Twin Cities, Minnesota. Same time I found they are the founders of indie hip hop label "Rhymesayers Entertainment".

Since then I cant stop listing to music from their artists, here is a lil bit of this indie rap. Way better than the commercial main stream shit I have been listening untill now.

I watch parts of this concert at least once a day. Its amazing how they do rap with an actual band!! First I ever seen that and personally for sure the best rap live show I have seen for now.

an official video:

Prof, Twin cities, MN born and rise. Also known as "the maniac rapper". Great lyrics, crazy funny videos

And the best example of how "crazy" he is:
