Currently P-51 Mustang sells at $20.99, so grab it if you don't have it yet! :)

Apparently they messed up. The Normandy map and assets pack are not available under 'Modules' yet, once you have updated to DCS 2.1.

Use this in the commandline:

dcs_updater.exe install NORMANDY_terrain

for the Normandy map and:

dcs_updater.exe install WWII-ARMOUR

for the asset pack.

Vander, Thanks for the tip! I was having trouble with that. Finally got it all downloaded...and...I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed by the update. Performance is terrible and the lighting looks hideous to me, shadows jumping all over and such.
It's an alpha...no doubt, but WHAT have they done to Nevada! Where is that feeling of great visible distances?!? Gone in a milky haze!

They've got some work ahead to fix all this stuff imho.

Some tips to improve things:

-Use " Flat shadows" for terrain. This will get rid of the jumping shadows and improves frame rates.
-Deferred shading is sort of mandatory or the game will look quite bad. It doesn't seem to have a big fps hit on my system anyway.
-Disable " Global illumination" in cockpit. It's already too light.
-For non Gsync users (like me) use adaptive vsync: http://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/techn ... technology
The new haze / " improved" lighting is also a bit of a letdown for me. I wish there was a setting so we could default back to 2.05 graphics!!!!
