I'd just like to say how much I'm enjoying this module.
Despite the occasional bugs, DCS weirdness, and learning curve/lack of info., I'm having a great time with it.

Had some great pvp fights with Wolfie at the end of last night, that were epic.
Even fighting the ai is surprisingly stressful/fun.

Well worth the cost of admission imho.

Quite possibly, the best DCS module ever!(Till I get an F-14, that is, but maybe even then...)

Looks like yesterday's Open Beta update wiped some/all HOTAS controls in the F-18. I suggest you make sure you check/remap things before your next flight!
I think the reason is they must have added, renamed, or reorganized some controls...so loading a backed up control scheme isn't going to work.(as I understand it)

Damn, one of the reasons I gave up in the early days as every time after a short period i booted up i had to redo the controls. Must learn to use TARGET, tried once and gave up.

Yea, know what you mean, it can be irritating. I've taken to religiously writing down all control assignments on a custom form I made, then I stick it in a binder. Very handy for reference when I jump in a plane I haven't flown in a while. Also makes remapping a lot less painful.

I've dabbled a little with TARGET, and it's got real potential. But because it only recognizes Thustmaster controls it's of limited value to me(I've got a lot of devices). What I want is a program that could manage all controllers; button states as well as axis curves, shift states etc. Oh and it's simple to use, stable, and has a low overhead too!

"SV Mapper" comes pretty close to what I want but doesn't do axis curves...Yet in the end, I just map things in game.

At least this time it was only the stick and throttle controls that changed.
