Just check your driving aids, I found out I was running with ABS and traction control on, switched them off and knocked seconds off my lap times

I have been sim racing since the early 90's, nay the late 80's with Nigel mansells GP/F1GP/Papyrus Nascar/Papyrus indycar or summat, this is really the best so far at giving FFB through the wheel, AI are crap, graphics are meh, but the feel is spot on :-)

Racing cars like the F40, and similar, are more up my alley and just this little tidbit of a review has me intrigued.
I would be in it for the fun, not the practice...
Assetto Corsa's a very Latin breed of racing game, where flamboyance is met with a certain style - two traits that are in short supply when it comes to PC driving sims. It's not exactly hard to find a decent driving game on the PC right now, but the problem is they're all very serious. There's the slightly stuffy façade of iRacing, beyond which lies competitive racing above and beyond anything else in the genre. It takes dedication to extract that side of it, though, its MMO-like subscription met by an MMO-like demand for hours upon hours of rigid practice. ...

I always thought there was a slightly 'stuffy' side to Blackie ( ). So how much does a good steering wheel go for? And can I use my flight sim pedals for petrol and clutch???

Lest we forget...

Hey Bandy, you need to learn how to shift first! Hehe ;)

Yes, you can use rudder pedals, but not sure if it's ideal. If you buy a racing wheel, it usually comes with pedals as well?
